In Celebration of 15 Years, National Diaper Bank Network Donates 69,388 Diapers to The HopeLine

Impact doesn’t always arrive unexpectedly—but sometimes it arrives in a way that still takes your breath away.
In honor of 15 years of impact, the National Diaper Bank Network reached out to ask if The HopeLine could receive a major diaper donation in celebration of this milestone. The answer was an enthusiastic yes—and what followed was extraordinary: 69,388 diapers dedicated to supporting families across New York City with a basic necessity no one should have to struggle to afford.
“This moment really brought everything full circle,” said Executive Director Maria Cintron. “When I first met leadership at the National Diaper Bank Network over a decade ago, I knew right away we were on the same page. I expected we would stay in touch in some way, but never would I imagine a delivery of nearly 70,000 diapers to show up on their 15th anniversary. It’s incredible!”
The donation was made possible in partnership with Huggies, whose continued commitment to addressing diaper insecurity helps ensure families aren’t forced into impossible choices between diapers and other essentials. Together, this partnership represents what’s possible when national leadership and trusted community organizations work hand in hand.
