Remember The HopeLine in Your Will Creating and updating your will or living trust is an important way to care for our loved ones and reflect our philanthropic passions. You can leave most of your resources to your loved ones and reserve a small percentage to The HopeLine. We welcome gifts in any amount and you can change your mid at any time. Simply contact your attorney or advisor to discuss the best way to update your will.
To include The HopeLine, you will need our designation and tax ID number: Tax ID# 13-3603303
Retirement Plans IRA, 401(k), 403(b) or other tax deferred plan. Name The HopeLine as beneficiary of all or a percentage of your retirement plan account and leave less heavily taxed assets to loved ones and The HopeLine receives 100% of the gift.
Life Insurance Policy You can name The HopeLine beneficiary your life insurance policy if it has outlived its original purpose and you no longer need the policy
Certificate of Deposit, Bank or other Brokerage Accounts. You can name The HopeLine as beneficiary of any of these accounts
Donor Advised Funds (DAF) You can designate The HopeLine to receive funds remaining in your DAF account after your lifetime. With each of these gifts, simply ask your retirement plan manager or financial institution for the appropriate designation form. You will need our legal designation.
